TACTUS is the premiere contemporary performance group at Manhattan School of Music in New York City. TACTUS is dedicated to providing young performers and composers at MSM with opportunities to study and perform works composed during our lifetime, to work directly with living composers, and to share knowledgeable performances of 20th/21st-century masterpieces. Performances this season have included works by Oehring, Xenakis, Ades, Scelsi, Crumb, Stravinsky, Lindberg, Van Eyken, Radiohead, and Hans Werner Henze's epic quartet El Cimarrón among others. |
