Drummer / Percussionist / Tech

If there’s anything I’m qualified to do, it’s percussionings. All the percussions are belong to us.

But seriously, I’ve been playing drums since I was 9 years old. I would play concert and marching bands at school, and 90s rock drumset at home. At 14, I got into a metal band with the local college kids. At 18, I fell in love with the complexity and artistry of contemporary classical percussion music. I studied at one of the world’s leading percussion institutions, Manhattan School of Music, where I was later hired as both a staff recording engineer and the director of the historic percussion ensemble.

I learned to tune my drums before the advent of the internet and how-to-videos, and I take great pride in my ability to tune any drum to taste. I’m an excellent drum tech, repair man, and lover of all cymbals and snares. With all of my experience as a professional percussionist / drummer, I am able to quickly step into any project and fill in if needed (including sight-reading any music).
