The Weight of Change (2023)
Brett William Dietz premieres my solo game piece, The Weight of Change, for drum and coins. Based on Brett’s previous homes’ street numbers, the performer rips out a serious of rhythmic phrases before the coin falls.
Badwater Basin – Alexandre Lunsqui (2022)
Greg Chudzik performs this upright bass masterpiece that makes incredible use of this giant instrument with virtuosic interplay between the right and left hands. Utilizing wooden dowels, triangle beaters, a guitar pick, and bow, Lunsqui creates a unique sound world that Chudzik champions with attitude and ease.
Count to Five – Recap (2021)
Recap is a New Jersey percussion quartet, presenting works by six powerhouse composers on their debut album.

Count to Five – Angélica Negrón (2021)
Recap performs “Count to Five” in a downtown Philly thrift shop. Using found objects like playing cards, newspapers, bowed wine glasses, and tape recorders, they play this great art piece with precision and finesse.
Amplified Perception – Al Cerulo (2019)
Performed and commissioned by Al Cerulo, Amplified Perception is an evening of new works for single solo percussion instruments with electronic enhancement featuring compositions by Eve Beglarian, Randy Gibson, Paula Matthusen, Mathew Rosenblum, and Jude Traxler.

For inverted snare drum, crotales, tuning forks, and audio looper, In Modifier Keys explores the extended sound world of a snare drum as a noise resonator with a 6-channel output. Commissioned as part of his Amplified Perception project, Al Cerulo performs this with piece with a ceremonial intensity.
“with liberty…” – Joe W. Moore, III (2020)
The extraordinary Joe W. Moore, III wrote a piece for Manhattan School of Music’s percussion ensemble to be performed in front of the General Grant National Monument near the historic conservatory in Harlem.
S.O.S. (Shiny Object Syndrome) – Mathew Rosenblum (2020)
Al Cerulo brings to life the wide dynamic range of a single cymbal equipped with a contact microphone and Mathew Rosenblum’s sixteenth-note world in “S.O.S. (Shiny Object Syndrome)”.
Until It Blazes – Eve Beglarian (2020)
Al Cerulo performs Eve Beglarian’s electronic-assisted instrumental solo on glockenspiel accompanied by a simple 2:3 delay and a growing distortion crescendo.
