Recording (In-House & On-Site)

I’ve been recording music since 2003. I worked as a staff engineer at Louisiana State University where I captured hundreds of classical recitals and major academic concerts throughout the years. After I finished my bachelor’s degrees, I attended Manhattan School of Music where I did similar work, recording live orchestras, large chamber ensembles, and solo shows in eight different concert halls on campus, often simultaneously. Conversely, I’ve always been an avid metalhead and rock musician – recording, editing, and mixing side projects for anyone whose sound draws my interest.

I have a large collection of high-quality microphones and preamps, power conditioners, programmable monitor playback options, portable baffling, talkback, and all the toys that come with an excellent, mobile recording studio for the client that wants to track remotely. Using AVB-connected interfaces, my setup is robust and succinct for any size ensemble or band in even the tightest locations. I can deliver commercial-quality audio stems to studios and labels in the comfort of my home studio in Nashville or at the client’s chosen space anywhere on the globe.
